Minimum Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate's degree in information assurance, computer networking, information technology, computer science or related field. Four years experience in IT/security and one or more industry certification in information security such as CompTIA Security +, and CISSP, etc. Successful results of a background check are required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Prefer a master's degree in information assurance, computer networking, information technology, computer science or related field. Six years experience in IT/Security and one or more industry certifications in Information Security such as CompTIA Security +, CISSP, etc.
Duties:The Cybersecurity Instructor will teach CE, PSAV & college credit courses related to information security, networking, and operating systems. The instructor will coordinate, schedule, advise students and department heads, and perform other duties as assigned related to teaching, IT, equipment, etc.
