Minimum Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Graduation from an accredited institution with a master’s degree in chemistry; or a master’s degree and 18 graduate hours in chemistry, and teaching experience required. Successful results of a background check are required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Prefer earned doctorate in chemistry with at least two years of college teaching experience.
Duties:The Chemistry Instructor will teach a variety of freshman-level classes to include introductory, survey of, and mainstream General Chemistry and associated lab courses. Teaching may include Organic Chemistry depending on interest and qualifications. Duties also include participation in college projects, committee work, and other typical college faculty activities. Position to begin January 2009.
Salary:$34,828.00
